Jennifer Connelly is ready for another little one!

A rep for the actress, who just marked her 40th birthday Sunday, confirms exclusively to UsMagazine.com that she and hubby Paul Bettany, 39, are expecting.

Connelly is already mom to the duo’s 7-year-old son Stellan and 13-year-old son Kai (from her previous relationship with photographer David Dugan).

The star, who wed Bettany in Scotland in 2003 after they met filming the Oscar-winning flick A Beautiful Mind, opened up to Glamour last year about how she knew he was The One.

“It was something about the way that we were together,” she told the mag. “He stood out to me as someone singular and rare and beautiful, and I liked the way he was in the world. I liked the way he was with people. I liked the way he was with my son and the way he made me feel.”

Actress JoAnna Garcia and New York Yankees player Nick Swisher are officially husband and wife!

The pair swapped vows in front of 375 family members and friends in an evening ceremony Saturday in Palm Beach, Fla.

Jamie Lynn Sigler and Garcia’s Reba costar Reba McEntire served as bridesmaids, while singer Lance Bass stood as part of the wedding party.

After walking down the aisle in a Monique Lhuillier gown, the actress and the baseball player celebrated with guests as they indulged in a seven-tier, $10,000 Sylvia Weinstock wedding cake.

Better With You‘s Garcia, who got engaged to Swisher, 30, last May, says she “loves everything about” her beau.

“I know that sounds cheesy and lame, but I just really do,” the actress, 31, tells Us. “I’m impressed and awed by him every single day when I wake up. He’s a really happy person and he’s just really nice.”

Though Garcia has been taping her sitcom in L.A. while Swisher is in NYC with the Yankees, the newlywed says being 3,000 miles apart has “actually been strangely easy.”

“This relationship’s been the easiest thing I’ve ever done,” Garcia explains. “It works out because we both have crazy schedules for a certain period of time in our lives, but for some reason it doesn’t conflict as much as one would think. Life’s good right now. We’re enjoying it.”

Ja Rule Pleads Guilty, Faces 2 Years in Prison on Gun Charge

Ja Rule is headed to the big house. The “Put It on Me” rapper copped
a plea deal Monday morning to attempted criminal possession of a weapon
stemming from an arrest in July 2007, when he was pulled over by police
following a performance with Lil Wayne at New York City’s Beacon
Theater. The 34-year-old was promised two years in prison when he is
sentenced in February.

“Because of your guilty plea here today, you’ll have a record of
having committed a violent felony. This is a very serious matter,”
Manhattan state Supreme Court Justice Richard Carruthers told the platinum-selling MC.

He could have faced up to 15 years in prison, if convicted on the gun
charge. “This isn’t a good day,” said Rule as he left the court. He
is due back February 9, according to the AP.

Rule, born Jeffrey Atkins, wasn’t the only one who was discovered
packing heat after the ’07 show. Wayne was also pulled over and arrested
for weapons possession upon leaving the venue, resulting in a year-long
bid at Rikers Island. He was released from jail last month after
serving eight months of his sentence.

What does a girl do when she can’t contain her excitement? Gush on Twitter, of course. At least that’s what Eva Amurri did this weekend.

“What a week: I became a cartoon character, did a Maxim shoot, and got engaged! Lol. Not bad, not bad. Thanks for all the congrats!!” the 25-year-old actress posted Saturday.

“The most wonderful man on this planet” she refers to in an earlier Tweet is none other than her boyfriend Kyle Martino, 29, a former MLS soccer player who is now a Fox Soccer Channel commentator. He is originally from Connecticut, and the couple now live together in California.

Amurri’s rep also confirms the engagement, telling PEOPLE: “They just got engaged and both couldn’t be happier.”

Elizabeth Hurley’s three-year marriage to Indian businessman and textile heir Arun Nayar is on the rocks amid a tabloid report she cheated.

The British model, actress and designer, 45, Tweeted the news Sunday: “Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun and I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this.”

Hurley’s announcement coincided with a report in Britain’s News of the World claiming her alleged affair with cricketer Shane Warne. The tabloid has pictures and video of the couple kissing, and says that they spent the night together Wednesday at London’s Bentley Hotel.

Hurley and Nayar began dating in 2003 and married in March 2007 at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, where they exchanged vows in an Anglican ceremony before 300 guests. Days after the British ceremony they threw a sumptuous week-long celebration at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India, capped by a Hindu wedding ceremony.

Hurley has an 8-year-old son, Damian, with her ex Stephen Bing. She previously dated actor Hugh Grant for 13 years before the pair called it quits in 2000.

Talk about a surprise guest.

After two children and four years together, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden invited about 130 close family and friends for their scheduled wedding Saturday.

But one attendee stood way out: a trained elephant was spotted being led into the Los Angeles estate of Richie’s father, music superstar Lionel Richie, where two tents were set up for the ceremony on a warm evening.

Otherwise, the couple appeared to be sticking to tradition. Richie wore a wedding dress by Marchesa, and their rings were by jeweler Neil Lane, who also crafted Richie’s 4-carat engagement ring, sources tell PEOPLE.

“They’re going all-out with the decor.” says another source. “Nicole wanted a memorable, elegant affair for only their closest friends and family on their special day.”

How the elephant fit in wasn’t immediately known.

Guests included the groom’s twin brother and Good Charlotte bandmate Benji Madden, 31, Sam Ronson, as well as Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale.

Richie, 29 and Madden, 31, announced their engagement in February, and Richie’s friends threw her a luxurious bachelorette party in Mexico in September.

Ryan Gosling’s new movie Blue Valentine almost got an NC-17 rating, but the actor kept the flirtation with Blake Lively noticeably G-rated at the film’s premiere after-party.

Still, the pair were almost inseparable as they engaged in close conversation Thursday night while the Quintessentially-sponsored event spun around them at The Top of the Standard at the Standard Hotel in New York. At one point, Gosling started to leave Lively’s side and the actress yanked him back to continue chatting, according to an observer.

As the party wound down, they headed downstairs to the hotel’s Standard Grill to dine with two other companions.

Lively, 23, and Gosling, 30, were first spotted together in October at Disneyland where they took in the sights and some ice cream at the park, an appropriate setting since Gosling once was a Mouseketeer.

Neither of the actors is admitting to anything serious. “She’s an incredible actress; she’s a good friend,” Gosling told PEOPLE at a lunch Thursday for Blue Valentine in New York at the Kimberly Hotel.

When asked generally about romances between actors and actresses, Gosling says, “You’re not allowed to have friends in this business.”
