It’s a girl for Stella McCartney!
The fashion designer and husband Alasdhair Willis welcomed their fourth child, daughter Reiley, on Tuesday, Nov. 23 in London, E! Online reports. The baby girl weighed in at 8 lbs.
The couple, who wed in 2003, are already parents to son Miller Alasdhair James, 5½, daughter Bailey Linda Olwyn, 4 next week, and son Beckett Robert Lee, 2½.
McCartney, 39, is a celebrity baby herself — dad is Beatles legend Paul McCartney.
Alexander, you are out!
Project Runway judge Nina Garcia’s second son made his debut in New York City this weekend.
“Delighted to announce that over the wknd we welcomed 8lb13oz Alexander David Conrod into our home!” Garcia, 45, wrote on Twitter.
“Baby is doing great & Lucas is thrilled!” she added, referring to her 3½-year-old son with husband David Conrod.
And Lucas had been excited about the impending arrival for some time. “He’s excited and he gets it,” Garcia told PEOPLE this summer. “We told him, and he’s very happy to be a big brother. He’s waiting for the baby to come more than we are.”
In addition to her role on Lifetime’s Project Runway, Garcia is also fashion director at Marie Claire magazine.
It’s been a busy travel weekend for most Americans – and especially for Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Two days after enjoying maple lattes together in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Thanksgiving, Swift and Gyllenhaal popped up in the singer’s hometown of Nashville.
On Saturday afternoon, the couple were spotted getting a late breakfast at Fido, a coffeehouse and café near Vanderbilt University and Music Row.
“They were smiling and laughing. They were talking a lot and enjoying each other’s company,” fellow diner Elaina Mishu tells PEOPLE. “They didn’t look like [just] friends.”
Customer Emma Rice, who snapped a photo of the pair and posted it online, calls the duo “very cute” and says, “They seemed close.”
The singer, 20, and actor, 29, were first spotted together in late October.
And while Gyllenhaal has avoided commenting on his relationship with Swift, they aren’t hiding their affection.
“They were not trying to be discreet by any means,” another eyewitness says of the pair, who sat at a table near a window. “They were definitely a couple. They looked very happy.”
John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston are parents to son Benjamin, who was born Tuesday in a Florida hospital.
The baby weighed 8 lbs., 3 oz.
“John, Kelly and their daughter Ella Bleu are ecstatic and very happy about the newest member of the family,” they say in a statement. “Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully.”
Preston, 48, told PEOPLE recently that the entire family was in major preparation mode for their new addition as her pregnancy neared its end.
“I’ve been cleaning out everything in the house,” Preston said in September. “Ella has been helping too. She’s looking forward to being a big sister.”
Travolta, 56, and Preston’s son Jett suffered a fatal seizure at age 16 in January 2009.
Halle Berry has already moved on with Olivier Martinez, and now her ex Gabriel Aubry has a new interest of his own – Kim Kardashian.
Kardashian, 30, and the model, 34, sat next to each other at Sunday night’s L.A. Lakers game at the Staples Center against the Golden State Warriors. “They’ve been dating a little bit,” says a source.
The pair walked in together and were joined by Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner.
Three years after a storybook wedding in a European castle, Eva Longoria filed for divorce Wednesday from basketball star Tony Parker.
The Desperate Housewives star’s documents were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court just one day after her rep denied that Parker had done the same in a Texas court.
The petition cites only the standard “irreconcilable differences” for the split. But this past week the couple have been rocked with infidelity rumors, with claims that Tony has been unfaithful.
Longoria is seeking spousal support from Parker. The couple have a prenuptial agreement signed the month before their wedding and updated two years later. The petition says their date of separation is still to be determined.
Longoria’s attorney, Lance Spiegel, wasn’t immediately available for comment.
Longoria, 35, and Parker, 28, were engaged in November 2006, then wed – as fireworks lit up the sky – on July 7, 2007, at Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte, a 17th Century castle on the outskirts of Paris one day after a small civil service. The double wedding celebrating came after a week of partying in Saint-Tropez, France.
In 2008, one year after their wedding, the Desperate Housewives star was plagued by pregnancy rumors, though she, Parker and her costars repeatedly denied them.
Still, Longoria Parker, said she was looking forward to having children with her husband, telling reporters in July 2008 that was eager to start a family. “I can’t wait,” she said at the time.
A year earlier, the two also faced rumors that the San Antonio Spurs star had cheated on his wife, though Longoria Parker stood by her husband, cheering him on at games and sharing public dinners.
“They are perfectly happy, despite everything that’s going on,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.
And, recently, the actress has pampered her husband, showering him with gifts for his 28th birthday this may. They also celebrated their third anniversary in lavish (and romantic) style with an Adriatic cruise and vacation with friends.
The wait is over: Prince William and Kate Middleton, having been a couple on and off for eight years, are finally set to wed, they have announced.
While no date has been revealed, it is thought the ceremony will be held in a few months and be the biggest since William’s mother, Diana, married Prince Charles.
“Everyone is absolutely delighted. He has never had eyes for any other woman since Kate came on the scene,” says an old friend. “She is going to make a wonderful wife, a wonderful princess.”
Both the future bride and groom are 28.
The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton.
The wedding will take place in the Spring or Summer of 2011, in London. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course.
Prince William and Miss Middleton became engaged in October during a private holiday in Kenya. Prince William has informed The Queen and other close members of his family. Prince William has also sought the permission of Miss Middleton¹s father.
Following the marriage, the couple will live in north Wales, where Prince William will continue to serve with the Royal Air Force.
