It’s a second child for Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves.

Details are still to come regarding the gender and size of the baby, who joins big brother Levi, 17 months.

McConaugheyr, 40, and Alves, 26, announced the pregnancy in June, blogging, “We pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time. Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows.”

The couple, who began dating in 2006, chose not to find out the sex of the baby prior to delivery, just as they did with Levi. McConaughey encouraged fans to guess, however.

Nelly Furtado English Album Due in May

The new year is still a couple days away, but Nelly Furtado has already given us something to look forward to in 2010. The pop star has announced a release date for her fourth English album.

The follow-up to 2006’s multi-platinum Loose will be released on May 25, 2010, according to the singer. “Ahh.. 2010 …Can’t wait for my spring Ml PLAN tour, and my brand new english album release on May 25th, 2010!!!!!!!!!!!” she tweeted.

Furtado issued her first Spanish album Mi Plan in September and collaborated with Timbaland on “Morning After Dark” from his Shock Value II album. She is already working with the producer on material for her next effort.

“Timbaland and I hooked up over spring break and we wrote about 10 songs together and we had a blast,” she told The Associated Press earlier this year.

Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart Expecting a Girl Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart will be thinking pink when their bundle of joy arrives later this winter.

The couple is expecting a baby girl, a source tells PEOPLE.

Grey’s Anatomy star Dane, 37, and Gayheart, 38, shared their good news in September by stepping out once the actress began to show, but never formally announced the pregnancy.

The couple were married in a 2004 Vegas wedding.

News of the Gayheart-Dane baby’s gender was first reported by E! Online‘s Marc Malkin.

“This will be the last season of The Tyra Show,” the 35-year-old talk show host tells People. “I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.”

Tyra will wrap up the fifth and final season in Spring 2010.

“My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are,” Tyra says. “There’s a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart. And I salute you my amazing family of viewers; without you there never would have been a Tyra Show. I really love you all.”

Tyra will focus on launching Bankable Studios, a N.Y.-based film production company.

Taylor Swift, Taylor Lautner Split!

So much for the two Taylors finding love.

After three months of dating, country singer Taylor Swift and New Moon star Taylor Lautner have split, UsMagazine.com has learned.

 

“It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends,” a source close to Swift, 20, tells Us. “There was no chemistry.”

 

The pair — who met on the set of the romantic comedy Valentine’s Day — first sparked rumors of a romance when she hugged him at her October 9 concert in Rosemont, Illinois. They have since been spotted on several wholesome dates — like their frozen yogurt date at Menchie’s alongside Swift’s mom earlier this month — and have each coyly alluded to their relationship on separate Saturday Night Live hosting gigs.

 

However, the relationship officially fizzled when Lautner, 17, flew to Nashville for Swift’s birthday party on Dec. 13, a friend of the singer reveals.

 

“He liked her more than she liked him,” the source tells Us. “He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn’t travel much to see him.”

 

Lucky for Lautner, the split won’t inspire angry songs like those written about ex Joe Jonas — who dumped Swift during a 27-second phone call in 2008.

 

“They plan to stay friends,” the source says.

 

In fact, Swift — whose friend says she is a “hopeless romantic” who “wants everything she writes about” in her songs — will likely reunite with the Twilight hunk when they begin promoting Valentine’s Day, out Feb. 12.

 

Swift’s rep had no comment. Lautner’s rep could not be reached.
