Penelope Cruz: “No,” I’m Not Pregnant!

Penelope Cruz doesn’t have a bun in the oven.

The 35-year-old actress – who is dating Javier Bardem – has been rumored to be expecting for weeks.

But at Thursday’s Toronto Film Festival premiere of her latest film, Broken Embraces, she finally set the record straight.

“I start getting some presents from friends saying, ‘Congratulations, you’re pregnant.’ And I say, ‘No, I’m not, so return the presents,'” she told USA Today. “It’s amazing.”

More proof she’s not pregnant: She was photographed smoking Parliament cigarettes with pal Salma Hayek Wednesday at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont.

Christina Milian Is Pregnant!

Christina Milian is pregnant with her first child, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.

The singer, 27, wed music producer The-Dream, 27, on Sept. 4 at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Us first reported their engagement two months ago.

“The pregnancy was a surprise, but they were getting married regardless,” a source tells Us.

Milian has already been talking about children.

“Of course, I would love to have kids,” she told Us earlier this summer at the premiere of Bring It On: Fight to the Finish in NYC. “I think that’s some of the reasons why I do movies like this.”

Even The-Dream (real name: Terius Hagert Youngdell Nash) — who proposed to Milian with a six-carat sparkler from Ivanka Trump‘s jewelry line — has been talking about a family.

“I love kids, and [Christina] loves kids probably more than I do,” he told Us in July. “She’ll make that time [to have a baby]. In the next couple of years, there’ll be something around.”

It's a Girl for Fantastic Four Star Ioan Gruffudd | Ioan Gruffudd Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans welcomed their first child on Sunday, PEOPLE has confirmed.

Ella Betsi Evans Gruffudd was born Sept. 6 in Los Angeles. She weighed 6 lbs., 3 oz. and was 21 inches long.

The couple, who met while filming 2000’s 102 Dalmatians and wed in 2007, announced the pregnancy in April.

Gruffudd, 35, and Lost actress Evans, 38, knew the sex of the baby prior to delivery, but they kept it private.

“I’m sure we have no idea what we are heading into,” Gruffudd told PEOPLE in July of impending parenthood. “But we both love each other so much and really hope that we will create an environment of love and happiness.”

Katherine Heigl & Husband Adopting a Girl Almost exactly a year ago, musician Josh Kelley said he and wife Katherine Heigl weren’t talking about starting a family.

Looks like somebody changed the subject.

“Katherine and Josh are adopting a baby,” the actress’s rep confirms to PEOPLE. The couple are adopting a girl from Korea; Heigl’s sister also was adopted from Korea.

Heigl, 30, who married Kelly in December 2007, recently hosted a baby shower for Ellen Pompeo. And last week, Heigl got a leave of absence from Grey’s Anatomy to film the movie Life As We Know It.

Nicole Richie & Joel Madden Welcome a Baby Boy | Nicole Richie Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are the proud parents of a baby boy, PEOPLE confirms.

“In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009, Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. He weighs 7 lbs. 14 oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes,” the couple wrote on Richie’s Web site.

The newborn joins older sister Harlow Winter Kate Madden, born in January 2008.

“We’re very, very blessed,” Madden, 30, told PEOPLE on Aug. 6 of the approaching event. “We’ve already had one healthy kid, and that’s all you can ask for as a parent – healthy kids.”

Richie, 27, who’s enjoyed a new low-key lifestyle at home since the birth of Harlow, still keeps active with various business projects, including a maternity line for A Pea in the Pod and her House of Harlow 1960 jewelry line.

The couple also run the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation, which they launched in 2007 to provide grants to health-care and education nonprofits.

“I don’t think you can plan anything about having a child,” Richie told PEOPLE back in October 2008. “It’s something completely new, so you just have to go with whatever works for you. There’s a million different ways to be a mom.”

Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have called off their engagement, her rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.

Chmerkovskiy, 29, posted on Twitter Monday: “What was meant to be a ‘life long book’, turned into a ‘chapter’…….and now that ‘chapter’ is finished…… Se la vie…”

The professional dancers got engaged on New Year’s Eve 2008 — six months after Smirnoff, 31, split from Mario Lopez. They planned to wed next summer.

In June, Smirnoff opened up to Us about meeting with a wedding planner to map out the big day.

“We’re really excited,” she told Us at the Russian Heritage Festival in NYC.

“I definitely want that fairy tale, big skirt ball gown,” she sent on. “When else can you wear that?”

Chmerkovskiy competes with Entourage star Debi Mazar, and Smirnoff with Aaron Carter when Dancing With the Stars returns to ABC Sept. 21.
