Here’s to the newlyweds! Singer-songwriter James Blunt and Sofia Wellesley celebrated their wedding in Majorca in front of close family and friends on Friday, Sept. 19, Daily Mail reports. The couple previously married in a private ceremony at a London registry office on Sept. 5.

Blunt, 40, and the British socialite quietly exchanged vows earlier this month one day after attending Elton John’s annual End of Summer party in Windsor. “Sofia joked to friends that she was almost too hungover to get married,” an insider said.

After their bigger affair yesterday, the bride and groom whisked away in a bronze VW Beetle. The “You’re Beautiful” singer wore a black suit while his bride wore a long-sleeve lace dress and kept her blonde locks away from her face in a low bun.

The couple got engaged in December 2013 after dating for a year. Wellesley graduated from the prestigious Edinburgh University and is currently a legal consultant for a London based firm. Her father is Lord John Henry Wellesley and she’s the granddaughter of the Duke of Wellington.

Eva Mendes Pregnant Expecting First Child Ryan Gosling

Hey, it’s a girl!

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes welcomed a daughter on Friday, Sept. 12, PEOPLE confirms. She is the first child for both actors.

Mendes, 40, and Gosling, 33, began dating in 2011, costarring in the 2012 drama The Place Beyond the Pines.

PEOPLE confirmed the pregnancy in July, but the couple kept Mendes’s growing baby bump under wraps for months.

“Their lives completely changed as soon as Eva got pregnant. They used to travel all over the place together and go on hikes with their dogs. [But in the past few months] she barely left the house,”  a source previously told PEOPLE. “Ryan has been taking care of her, picking up food and running errands. He has been very supportive of keeping things a secret.”

Though they hid the happy news, an insider told PEOPLE the stars couldn’t be more thrilled to expand their family.

“This has been a long time coming,” the pal said of the very private parents-to-be. “Ryan and Eva definitely discussed children before. She knows how much he wants to be a dad and he’s going to be an amazing father.”

Liv Tyler Pregnant Expecting Second Child

There’s a baby on the way for Liv Tyler!

The Leftovers actress is expecting a child, PEOPLE has confirmed.

Tyler, 37, is already mom to Milo, 9, her son with ex-husband Royston Langdon.

She is dating Dave Gardner, a British football agent and friend of David Beckham, who appeared with the soccer star in his documentary, David Beckham into the Unknown. The couple has been photographed out and about together over the past four months.

In 2008, the star spoke to Self about loving pregnancy the first time around. “Experiencing a child growing in your body just gives you such a newfound respect for the human body,” she said.
“It’s just fascinating. It gives you this sense and this feeling of timelessness, this sort of evolution of man and what a miracle it is that you get pregnant at all. It’s not like you take a special pill and this pill makes the baby grow. The baby just grows, without your even doing anything but breathing and sleeping and eating. That is an amazing feeling. You feel so proud of your body.”

Now she’s really got something to sing about.Ashley Tisdale, who first rose to fame on Disney’s High School Musical films, wed musician Christopher French on Monday evening, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

“Best day of my life! Introducing Mr. and Mrs. French Sept 8, 2014,” the actress, 29, announced on Instagram Tuesday.

“Ashley’s bachelorette party will be my first one,” former HSM costar Vanessa Hudgens told PEOPLE in May about the then-bride-to-be’s Miami girl’s trip.

“It’s so crazy, because I just think of us as having fun and being silly and the fact that she is getting married, my mind is kind of exploding,” Hudgens added.

Tisdale and French, the lead singer of Annie Automatic, first stepped out publicly in December 2012.

Eight months later, Tisdale Tweeted, “Best night of my life” – referring to French’s reported romantic proposal atop Manhattan’s Empire State Building.

Tisdale will next be seen on Buzzy’s, premiering on TBS in 2015.

There’s another royal baby on the way!

Princess Kate is expecting her second child.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child,” said the official announcement Monday morning.

“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

The statement continued: “As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today.

“The Duchess is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace.”

Kate and Prince William, both 32, welcomed son George in July 2013, and from the moment he was born, the third in line to the throne has captivated royal-watchers around the world.

From his first play date to learning how to walk, the chubby-cheeked toddler – who William calls “a little rascal” – has kept his proud parents on their toes.

As for the arrival of his sibling, Kate is believed to be fewer than three months pregnant.

When she was carrying Prince George, she was admitted to the hospital suffering from the same illness before she was eight weeks along.

Monday’s announcement came, in part, as a result of her having to pull out of that day’s appearance in Oxford with William Monday. The Palace is now reviewing her upcoming engagements, including her two-day visit to Malta scheduled for later this month.

She was also due to join William at brother-in-law Prince Harry’s Invictus Games later this week.

Scarlett Johansson Welcomes Daughter Dorothy-Rose Romain Dauriac

It’s a girl!

Scarlett Johansson and fiancé Romain Dauriac have welcomed their first child, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

Daughter Rose Dorothy was born in New York City. The baby’s middle name is an homage to Johansson’s grandmother, whom she called “the first Francophone in my family” while accepting her honorary César in Paris last February.

“Mother and daughter are doing well,” publicist Marcel Pariseau tells the Associated Press in a statement.

Further information is not being released at this time.

The actress has had plenty to celebrate in her personal life lately, including an engagement that came six months before PEOPLE confirmed in March that the couple were expecting a baby.

“I’m very happy. Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and really savor,” Johansson, 29, has said of Dauriac, a French journalist.

While never addressing the pregnancy, the mom-to-be let her baby belly do the talking, debuting her bump days after the news broke and, more recently, while stepping out for ice cream with Dauriac in mid-August.

Joan Rivers Dies at 81

Joan Rivers Dead

Joan Rivers, a raucous and often-ubiquitous comedic presence on TV and nightclubs since the 1960s, has died. She was 81.

“It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers,” daughter Melissa said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.

“She passed peacefully at 1:17 p.m. surrounded by family and close friends. My son and I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Mount Sinai Hospital for the amazing care they provided for my mother. Cooper and I have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received from around the world. They have been heard and appreciated.

“My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.”

Rivers stopped breathing during a surgical procedure on her vocal cords last week and had to be rushed from the clinic to Mount Sinai Hospital.

Her daughter, Melissa immediately flew from Los Angeles to the Manhattan medical facility, where Joan reportedly had been placed in a medically induced coma.

In a statement over the weekend, Melissa Rivers said, “We are keeping our fingers crossed,” and thanked those who expressed their support as her mother fought for her life.
