Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel Expecting First Child

Idina Menzel and Taye DiggsAfter 13 years together, Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel are expecting their first baby, their rep exclusively confirms to Usmagazine.com. The baby is due later this year.

The Private Practice star, 38, and the Tony award-winning actress, 37, first met on the original 1996 Broadway production of Rent in NYC. After seven years of dating, they got married in January 2003.

Menzel hinted to Us last January that once she finished promoting her third solo album, I Stand, she would consider starting a family with Diggs.

“It’s definitely in the plans,” she told Us. “I’ll settle down and start popping out some babies.”

She said Diggs has been ready for kids since “the day I met him.”

“He wouldn’t talk about marriage, but he’d talk about me having his children,” she told Us. “He’s always wanted kids. He grew up with four younger brothers and sisters, so he’s very comfortable around children.”

How do they keep their marriage together?

“We just really work hard to try to stay best friends,” Menzel told Us. “I love him so much, and I feel like we both have each other’s backs, and we have a great respect for each other. We’re enjoying each new phase of our lives together.”

Alyson Hannigan Welcomes a Daughter! It’s a girl – and she shares her birthday with her mom!

How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan and her husband, actor Alexis Denisof, who kept the gender of their baby a secret during pregnancy, have welcomed a daughter, her rep tells PEOPLE.

The girl is named Satyana Denisof and was born March 24 in Los Angeles, which also happens to be Hannigan’s birthday. “They’re very excited, and mom and baby are doing great,” says the rep.

Hannigan, 35, who first announced she was expecting to PEOPLE last October, craved ginger ale during her pregnancy and revealed she felt absent minded. “I have pregnancy brain, which I never realized was a thing but it is,” she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I sort of feel like a Koala bear where I’m slightly stoned all the time and say the wrong word.”

This is the first child for Hannigan and Denisof, 42, who met on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer during the 1999-2000 season and were married at the Two Bunch Palms resort near Palm Springs, Calif., in 2003.

It’s a Girl for Tim Allen!

Tim AllenTim Allen and his wife Jane have welcomed a baby girl, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.

Elizabeth Allen — who weight 5 lbs., 13 oz. — was born Saturday in Los Angeles.

Elizabeth is the second child for Allen, 55. He has a 19-year-old daughter, Katherine, from his first marriage.

This is his wife’s first child.

Allen and his wife appeared in two movies together, the adventure Zoom and the comedy The Shaggy Dog, before getting married in October 2006 in Colorado.

T.I. Sentenced to One Year, One Day in Jail

T.I. and Chris BrownRapper T.I was sentenced to jail for one year and one day this morning in Atlanta.

The three-time Grammy winner was arrested in 2007 hours before the B.E.T. awards, and later charged with possession of three unregistered machine guns and two silencers and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.

T.I. (real name: Clifford Harris) was also ordered to pay $100,300 in fines.

He has between 30 to 60 days to check into prison.

CSI Star Marg Helgenberger Files for Divorce | Alan Rosenberg, Marg Helgenberger Four months after separating from her husband of nearly two decades, CSI actress Marg Helgenberger has filed for divorce, documents filed Tuesday in Los Angeles court show.

Helgenberger cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind her split from actor Alan Rosenberg, and is seeking spousal support while asking the court to deny him any.

“After 19 years of marriage, Marg and Alan have decided to take some time apart,” the actress’s rep told PEOPLE last October. “They love and respect each other and remain committed to their family.”

Helgenberger, 50, and Rosenberg, 58, have an adult son together.

David Letterman Ties the Knot!

David Letterman and Regina LaskoDavid Letterman and his longtime girlfriend, Regina Lasko, have gotten hitched, Usmagazine.com reported just before Letterman announced the news during the Monday taping of his CBS Late Show.

“On Thursday, at 3 p.m., March 19, 2009, at the Teton County Courthouse in Choteau, Montana, I was married to Regina Lasko,” Letterman said about 20 minutes into the show, before he read the “Top 10” list.

“Regina and I began dating in February of 1986, and I said, ‘Well, things are going pretty good, let’s just see what happens in about ten years…'” he continued.

“…I had avoided getting married pretty good for, like, 23 years, and I — honestly, whether this happened or not — I secretly felt that men who were married admired me…like I was the last of the real gunslingers, you know what I’m saying?'” he joked.

The family’s truck got stuck in the mud en route to the courthouse, he explained. Letterman “walked two miles back to the house in 50 mph wind,” he said. “It’s not Beverly Hills — it’s Montana.

“And the whole way, I’m thinking, ‘See, smart ass, see you try to get married and this is what happens,'” he went on.

After getting his car from home, five-year-old son Harry says, “‘Are we still going into town?’…he got very upset because mom had told him if I wasn’t back in an hour, the deal was off.”

Letterman and Lasko — who began dating in 1986 when Lasko worked for him on his show — welcomed Harry in November 2003.

In 2007, Letterman told Oprah Winfrey that his son has made a “huge difference” in his life — but the boy doesn’t always get his daddy’s sense of humor.

Said Letterman, “Mommy has to tell him a lot that I’m just teasing.”

Letterman was previously married for seven years to his college sweetheart Michelle Cook.

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart Are Engaged

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are engaged, Usmagazine.com has learned.

He proposed over Valentine’s Day weekend.

Ford, 66, and Flockhart, 44, have been together since 2002.

Last year, Ford called Flockhart — who has son Liam (whom she adopted in 2001) — “the best [mom] in the world.”

“She’s a mother by choice,” he told Reader’s Digest. “She adopted Liam before we met, as a single parent which is an awesome responsibility to take. She’s devoted herself to Liam and has done a really wonderful job raising him. I’m happy to now have a part of the job.”
