R. Kelly’s Divorce From Wife of 11 Years Finalized

R. KellyR. Kelly and his wife Andrea‘s divorce was finalized Thursday after 11 years of marriage, lawyers for the former couple confirm to Usmagazine.com.

“The parties have reached an amicable resolution concerning all issues related to their marriage, and will share joint custody of their three children,” their Chicago-based lawyers said in a joint statement. “The details of this agreement will remain confidential and the family requests that their privacy be respected during this time.”

The couple separated in the fall of 2005, and Andrea went to court for an emergency restraining order, claiming that he had physically abused, harassed and stalked her, according to MTV News.

(Kelly had faced mounting legal troubles — the year before, charges were dropped against him in Florida for having sex with an underaged girl. In June 2008, the R&B singer was acquitted from child pornography charges after allegedly appearing in a raunchy video with another underage girl.)

Andrea told Essence magazine in 2007 that she and Kelly “have a bond that we will have for the rest of our lives because we have children…That we filed for divorce is not that important.”

They have two daughters and a son together.

Patrick Swayze Checks Into Hospital with Pneumonia | Patrick Swayze Patrick Swayze has pneumonia and has checked himself into a hospital for observation, it was revealed Friday at a press event for the Television Critics Association in Los Angeles.

“As we arrived here this morning we have some news,” said A&E president Abbe Raven. “Patrick Swayze has checked himself into the hospital. However, he asked us specifically to go forward with today’s panel. We wish him the very best with his recovery.”

Bob DeBitetto, the president and general manager of A&E , said that Swayze had decided to check himself into the hospital after he came down with pneumonia.

Swayze, who is battling pancreatic cancer, had been scheduled to discuss his new show, The Beast.

On an interview that aired Wednesday, the actor told Barbara Walters that his road has been difficult. “You can bet that I’m going through hell,” he said. “And I’ve only seen the beginning of it.”

Swayze, 56, who went public with his diagnosis last March, said the disease has taken an emotional toll. “There’s a lot of fear here,” he said. “Yeah, I’m scared. Yeah, I’m angry. Yeah, I’m [asking], why me.”

Despite his difficult year battling cancer, Swayze is still looking ahead. “I keep dreaming of a future, a future with a long and healthy life,” he said, “not lived in the shadow of cancer, but in the light.”

A source close to the actress, 37, confirms she and her husband, Half Life guitarist Noah Lebenzon, are expecting their first child this July.

The friend says, “Ana and Noah are so excited to be parents. You can just tell how thrilled she is. She’s totally glowing. I think the only thing she’s going to miss is the occasional margarita! Ana and Noah are going to be the most wonderful parents. They are so full of love. I can’t think of two better people to be parents.”

Ortiz may have been inspired to get pregnant by Ugly Betty costar Rebecca Romijn, who welcomed twins Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip with husband Jerry O’Connell on Dec. 28.

When asked about children at Us‘ Hot in Hollywood party last August, she said, “We are definitely thinking about it now that I saw Rebecca!”

Ortiz and Lebenzon wed in June 2007 in front of 85 guests — including Ugly Betty costars America Ferrera and Mark Indelicato — in Puerto Rico.

People confirmed the news, with Jen’s rep telling them “Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a healthy baby girl.”

The rep didn’t offer any other details, other than the fact that she was born today, Tuesday, January 6th.

It’s about time! Jen seemed like she was pregnant forever! We’ve seen the couple in and out of Cedars Sinai this past week, and each time it was just a false alarm.

There were reports that the couple was expecting a baby boy because Jenn apparently made a trip to trendy baby boutique Petit Tresor (we know how that store loves to blab) and purchased a ton of blue items. Guess Jenn had them fooled!

Craig Ferguson and Megan Wallace CunninghamCraig Ferguson surprised fans on CBS’ Late Late Show on Monday by announcing that he got hitched over the holidays.

The Scottish comedian, 46, wed his longtime girlfriend Megan Wallace Cunningham, an art dealer, in Vermont, “where they have legalized gay civil unions – and I married a woman,” he said.

Flashing off his wedding ring, Ferguson then joked, “It’s not just bling.”

He also off a picture of himself — dressed in a kilt — and his new wife from the wedding and joked that they should get their own nickname like “Cragran.” (After all, he cracked, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have “Brangelina.”)

Ferguson has been married twice; he has a 7-year-old son, Milo.
