Travis Barker and DJ AM in Jet Crash Travis Barker and DJ AM were among six people aboard a Learjet that crashed upon takeoff from a Columbia, South Carolina, airport after midnight Friday. The four others onboard were killed.

Barker, an ex-drummer for the rock band Blink 182 and the star of the MTV reality show Meet the Barkers, had performed at a free Friday-night college event with former Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell, Gavin DeGraw and DJ AM.

Barker, 32, was taken to a burn center in Augusta, Georgia, about 75 miles southwest of Columbia, and was listed in critical condition Saturday morning – as was DJ AM (real name: Adam Michael Goldstein), 35, say officials at the facility.

“Both Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein are in critical but stable condition,” Beth Frits, spokesperson for the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, tells PEOPLE. “Goldstein was airlifted here and Barker was brought by ground transportation. So they arrived separately.”

The Four Who DiedAccording to South Carolina’s Lexington County coroner, Harry Harman, and deputy coroner, Brian Setree, the four others on the plane were killed. They are: pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, Calif.; security guard Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles; and Barker’s assistant Chris Baker, 29, also of Los Angeles.

“We are doing our own investigation as well as waiting to hear what the National Transportation Safety Board has to say,” Setree tells PEOPLE.

Lynne Douglas, spokesperson for the Columbia Metropolitan Airport, tells PEOPLE the weather was beautiful when the Leerjet left the runway after midnight Friday.

“The plane crashed on takeoff and went through a fence near Highway 302, then crossed the road and went up an embankment before being filled with flames,” she tells PEOPLE. “There was debris all over the runway. We are closed now and hope to reopen later today.”

Sparks at Takeoff

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said the Lear 60 – bound for Van Nuys, Calif., with six people aboard – departed shortly before midnight Friday, when air-traffic controllers reported seeing sparks.

Barker and Goldstein perform together under the name TRVSDJ-AM. Goldstein at one time was the fiancé of Nicole Richie.
After Blink 182, Barker formed the rock band (+44) and costarred on Meet the Barkers with former Miss USA Shanna Moakler, his wife at the time.

This comes just 19 months after Marcia gave birth to twins Eden and Savannah. She’s 46 years old, and wants more children but feels it will be difficult and possibly dangerous to conceive naturally.

She tells Ok! Magazine, “I would always adopt. I fell like time is the issue for me.”

Well, there are so many celebrities who have adopted recently, that it seems to be the trend these days for older women. Either that, or pop fertility pills and have twins, like she already did!

Wooo hooo, happy days are here again! In Touch magazine is reporting that Leonardo DiCaprio is single again.

A source told In Touch Weekly that Bar Refaeli was seen partying in Las Vegas and “kept saying she needed to meet a hot guy.” The insider added, “She was on the prowl.”

DiCaprio and Rafaeli haven’t been spotted together since July. And he’s been making the rounds in the nightclub scene lately, which means one thing: he’s on the prowl too! Mission: Leo is officially on.

Kevin Tells Paris To Stay Away From Britney Spears

Kevin Federline has warned Paris Hilton to stay away from Britney Spears.

The dancer and rapper – who has two children with ex-wife Britney – told the
hotel heiress to leave the ‘Gimme More’ singer alone because she does not
need any bad influences in her life.

Kevin reportedly told the socialite at the Las Vegas launch of restaurant
and club Lavo he does not want Britney – who recently scooped three gongs at
the MTV Video Music Awards – to return to her troubled lifestyle for the
sake of his children Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two.

A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “It was quite a chilling
warning. She was quite friendly and asked how Britney and the kids are but
she won’t be asking again.”

Britney has previously enjoyed some notorious nights out with Paris, 27. The
pair – along with actress Lindsay Lohan – were regulars on the Los Angeles
party scene in 2006, often pictured flashing photographers while wearing no
underwear.

Britney, 26, threw a joint truck-themed birthday party for Sean, who turned
three on September 14 and Jayden, who was two on September 12, on Saturday
(09/13/08).

The boys had a great time driving mini-motorised cars, which were customised
Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier and later tucked into a yellow truck-shaped
cake.

Guests included Britney’s mother Lynne, father Jamie, sister Jamie Lynn and
her new baby Maddie, Jenny McCarthy and her son Evan, and Gwen Stefani’s
eldest child Kingston.

Britney Spears’ Circus Album — Out December 2nd!

Britney Spears will be releasing her sixth studio album, Circus on her birthday, Tuesday, December 2nd!

Her label Jive/Zomba announced the first single, “Womanizer”, will drop next Monday, Sept. 22. and was produced by the up-and-coming Atlanta production team The Outsyders.

Britney also enlisted the help of other established producers/writers for Circus including Dr. Luke (who wrote and produced the album’s title track, “Circus”), Danja, Max Martin, Bloodshy & Avant and Guy Sigsworth (Madonna, Alanis Morissette, Bjork).

Britney recently walked away with three Moonmen awards at this year’s MTV VMAs for “Video of the Year,” “Best Female” and “Best Pop Video” for “Piece of Me.”

The 29-year-old singer recently voiced her opinion about the Republican vice-presidential nominee: “If I were writing a letter to Sarah Palin, it would be a lot of whys and hows. Who are you? Do you know? Why do you hate animals? Please point out Iraq on a map … This woman hates women. She is not a feminist. She is not the woman that’s going to come behind Hillary Clinton and do anything that Hillary Clinton would’ve been capable of … I can’t imagine overturning Roe vs. Wade. She’s not of this time. The woman terrifies me.”

And speaking as an animal rights activist, Pink suggests animals should be just as scared of Palin as much as humans: “I can’t imagine shooting a wolf out of a helicopter.”
