ET confirms the news that “My Name is Earl” star Jason Lee has welcomed his second child.
The actor’s girlfriend, Ceren Alkac, gave birth to a girl on August 10.
The infant joins big brother Pilot Inspektor, 4, Lee’s son from a previous relationship.

Melanie Chisholm, 34, has reportedly confirmed that she has become pregnant by her partner of six years, Thomas Starr.
The news means she will be the last of the five-piece girl band to become a mother, following Victoria Beckham, Melanine Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton.A friend close to the star told the Daily Mirror: ‘Melanie is over the moon at the prospect of becoming a mum for the first time.
‘The girls are so pleased for her and have said they’re only a phone call away to pass on any parenting tips.
‘Melanie loved being around their kids on the band’s recent tour and is delighted she’s now one of the gang.’
Melanie sparked rumours she may be pregnant last Friday when she wore a blue floaty dress at a show in Liverpool.
And in a recent interview she hinted that she was feeling broody.
She said: ‘I love kids and one of the best bits about touring with the Spice Girls this time round was getting to know everyone’s babies. I’m sure that babies will be a part of my future.’
Once Melanie gives birth it will bring the total haul of Spice babies to eight.
It’s a rock band in the making: Gwen Stefani and her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale welcomed their second child, a son, on Thursday in Los Angeles, PEOPLE has learned.
Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale was born at 12:46 p.m. and weighed 8 1/2 lbs. He joins the couple’s other son Kingston, who turned 2 in May.
“Kingston, Gwen and Gavin Rossdale welcomed the newest member of their family,” they say in a statement. “Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy.
Stefani, 38, who is one of four children herself, has spoken openly about her hope for more children. “I’m in a race to have another,” she told InStyle last year before announcing her pregnancy.
The No Doubt singer, also the designer behind the L.A.M.B and Harajuku Lovers fashion lines, told the magazine that Rossdale is “super into being a dad.”
Rossdale, 42, also told PEOPLE that the couple planned to follow friends’ advice and get a gift for Kingston so he didn’t feel left out when his new sibling arrived. “Apparently when the baby comes home, you’ve got to bring a really good present for Kingston,” he said.
Angie Harmon and husband Jason Sehorn are expecting their third child, the actress’s rep tells PEOPLE.
Harmon, 36, who starred in Law & Order, and Sehorn, 36, a former NFL player, are parents of daughters Finley, 4, and Avery, 3.
“Angie Harmon and Jason Sehorn are thrilled to announce that they are expecting their third child,” the rep says.
Pop star Ricky Martin has adopted twin boys, born to a surrogate mother.
Martin, 36, who is currently single, plans to take a long break from showbusiness to raise the kids. In a statement, the Livin’ La Vida Loca singer-turned-humanitarian’s spokesperson says, “The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky’s full-time care.
“Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children.â€
Martin joins the ranks of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and fellow Puerto Ricans Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, who also became parents of twins this year.
Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana had a baby girl, Gia Zavala, on Wednesday, his rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com.
“Everyone is great,” Damon’s rep tells Us. “She’s healthy and beautiful.”
Gia joins Isabella, 2, and Damon’s stepdaughter, Alexia, 10.
“I’m so outnumbered down here, it’s crazy,” Damon recently joked of his female-dominated, Miami household.
In July, Damon said they hadn’t settled on a baby name.
“We decided to wait till she’s born, and then we’re going to get a look at her, and we’ll probably keep debating it,” he told USA Today.
Damon and Luciana, who met in 2003, were married Dec. 9, 2006 in New York City.
He recently told USA Today he plans on “taking the rest of the year off. I’m just hanging out with my family.”
