Alexa Vega and Carlos Pena are officially a married couple!
The 25-year-old Spy Kids actress and the 24-year-old Big Time Rush actor got married on Saturday (January 4) at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
“Mrs. PENAVEGA,†Alexa tweeted after the ceremony to tell her fans she is now a married woman!
This is the second marriage for Alexa, who was previously married to Sean Covel for two years. She started dating Carlos in late 2012.
“I’m starting off 2014 as a Mrs!” she announced on Twitter on Friday. “Over the holidays, my best friend and love of my life …we became husband & wife! #soblessed #love”
Chabert, 31, is keeping the name of her husband under wraps for now, although it is reported to be David Nehdar. The couple were married Sunday, Dec. 22, PEOPLE has learned.
The newlywed also shared a pic with her maid of honor – “my sweet sister Crissy” – that also offered a glimpse of her dress, a form-fitting strapless white gown with lace and crystal detailing.
‘Tis the season! Actors Jamie Chung and Bryan Greenberg are officially engaged after almost two years of dating, a source confirms to Us Weekly. (E! News was first to break the story.) Greenberg proposed in San Francisco over the holidays.
On Dec. 27, Chung, 30, tweeted, “So lovely being back home. I [heart] SF,” and Greenberg tweeted several photos from the popular California destination over Christmas.
But a few days later the couple was off to ring in the New Year in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
“Worked hard for this right here,” Greenberg, 35, tweeted with an image of the ocean on Dec. 29.
The Once Upon a Time actress started dating the Flock of Dudes actor in spring 2012. And though they’ve kept the details of their relationship private, the couple has attended several events together including the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which was taped in November.
It’s a New Year of love for socialite and fashion star Olivia Palermo and her German model beau, Johannes Huebl.
The happy couple announced their engagement via an Instagram video (see it below!) on Wednesday as they vacationed over the holidays in St. Barts. Palermo, 27, showed off her new ring in excitement as she frolicked among the palms in a billowy white beach dress.
“Happy New Year to everybody and this is how we celebrate it: OP said YES,” Huebl wrote in sharing their news.
Fashionistas were jazzed by the couple’s engagement, noting on social media their big expectations for style maven and The City star Palermo’s upcoming wedding dress.
The photogenic couple, who in the past have modeled together, have been together since 2008.
Ricky Martin and his partner Carlos Gonzalez have split.
“Ricky and Carlos have mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be united by friendship and their shared experiences,” a rep for the singer tells PEOPLE in a statement.
Last year, Martin, 42, spoke highly of Gonzalez, telling Vanity Fair that his boyfriend was supportive of his lifestyle, which included his 5-year-old twin sons Matteo and Valentino, who were born via surrogate in August 2008.
“I have experienced wonderful things with my partner. Complexity, understanding, and, at the same time, freedom, not being afraid that your partner is judging you. That is what I have found with Carlos,” Martin told the magazine.
“We’re going on four years together … When I started the process with my sons, Carlos wasn’t in my life. He said: ‘I’m looking for a boyfriend, not a father with a family.’ And I said to him: ‘You’ve found a grown-up, full-fledged man.’ I created a family structure and if he didn’t understand he’d ask me questions and we were on our way.â€
In November, a source hinted that distance may have played a factor in the split. “They’ve spent very little time together and have grown apart,” the source told PEOPLE. “They’ve been on the outs for a while now.”
The 35-year-old rapper’s beau popped the question on Christmas, her rep shared to E!

Back together for the holidays! Ashley Benson and ex-boyfriend Ryan Good are giving their romance another shot. A source close to the Pretty Little Liars actress tells Us Weekly that the two began dating again a few months ago.
Benson and Good, formerly known as Justin Bieber‘s “swagger coach,” broke up back in March after more than one year of dating. During their time apart, Benson was rumored to be dating Spring Breakers costar James Franco. The 35-year-old actor, however, denied the reports in October.
On Friday, Dec. 20, Benson and Good attended a belated celebration for the actress’ 24th birthday at the Boom Boom Room in New York City. A source tells Us that the ABC Family star threw a joint party with model pal Esther Houston.
“Ryan and Ashley were kissing each other all night,” the insider tells Us.
Benson turned 24 on Dec. 18, but was too busy filming a new project to celebrate. “Another long day on set,” she tweeted to her fans on her special day. “Still shooting. You guys made my day so much better. Reading all of your messages. You mean the world to me xx.”
After properly partying for her birthday, Benson and boyfriend Good left the Big Apple together on Dec. 22. They posed for a picture with celeb hairstylist Chris McMillan (the man behind Jennifer Aniston and Miley Cyrus‘ ‘dos) on the plane and posted it on Instagram with the caption “off to L.A.”
