Kelly Clarkson Expecting Second Child

Kelly Clarkson Pregnant Expecting Second Child Brandon Blackstock

Don’t let the crying fool you – they’re happy tears!

Kelly Clarkson revealed that she’s expecting her second child with husband Brandon Blackstock during Wednesday’s Los Angeles tour stop at the Staples Center.

The surprise announcement came while the American Idol winner, 33, was making her way through “Piece By Piece.” After holding back tears while introducing the song, Clarkson found herself struggling to get a handle on her emotions.

Instead, the singer stopped and told the crowd: “I was not planning on announcing this, but … I’m totally pregnant. I’m having a really hard time,” she explained of her inability to get through the song, which is both a kiss-off to her father and a paean to her husband for being a good dad.

“I’m gonna nail the s— out of this song. That was not how I wanted to announce that … I hate this song right now,” she joked while wiping away tears. “My makeup artist is backstage hating me right now. I just don’t want you to think I’m on pills or drunk.”

After finally getting through the tune, Clarkson said, “I’d like to apologize to my husband. That was not planned. I just didn’t want you to think I was crazy or something. Honestly, I’m just so hormonal today. … I haven’t vomited yet. That is a freakin’ win, y’all.”

The couple are already parents to daughter River Rose, 14 months. Blackstock is also father to son Seth and daughter Savannah from his previous marriage.

“This is going to be a fun show emotionally,” Clarkson continued after singing her hit “Breakaway.” “You know what’s not easy to do when you’re crying and choking up? Singing.”

“I’m so nervous to talk to my husband,” she added before covering Demi Lovato‘s “Cool for the Summer.” “We haven’t even told our [extended] family!”

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green Split After 5 Years of Marriage

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green Split
Megan Fox and husband Brian Austin Green have split after five years of marriage and nearly 11 years together.

“Megan and Brian have decided to separate,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. “They will always love each other very much and are devoted to their kids. Anything could happen in the future, but for now they’ve decided it’s best to take some time apart.”

The couple have been living separate lives for several months, and have not been spotted in public together recently.

Reps for the couple have not commented on the split.

The two are parents to sons Noah Shannon, 2½, and Bodhi Ransom, 18 months. Green is also dad to son Kassius, 13, from his previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil.

Fox, 29, and Green, 42, were married in Hawaii in 2010 after not one, but two engagements. Green, who met Fox in 2004 when he appeared on her show Hope & Faith, initially proposed in November 2006, only to call it off in February 2009. A source told PEOPLE, at the time, that the decision was mutual.

The pair still continued to spend time together despite publicly calling it quits, and eventually got engaged again in June 2010. They were wed 24 days later.

Just last year, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star told Men’s Health that she feels relationships are never perfect.

“You can’t live in a fantasyland and think that everything’s going to be perfect all the time,” she said. “You will go through phases where you’re just not getting along. You’re not communicating well. That’s going to happen, and it’s going to feel impossible to you sometimes. It might not even make sense to you sometimes.”

Fox added that “arguments are normal” and unavoidable. Despite “difficulties,” she called Green her “soul mate.”

“He’s definitely meant to be the father of my children. That makes it easier for me to work through things, because I always see the spiritual side of things. I look at the end game,” she said.

The actress has also said she and Green are “very, very different.”

“We are tolerant of each other and we try to be patient with each other, and I don’t try to turn him into me and he knows not to try to turn me into him,” she told Marie Claire UK in March 2013.

Julianne Hough Is Engaged to Brooks Laich

Happiness for this Hough! Actress and dancing pro Julianne Hough is engaged to her NHL boyfriend Brooks Laich, she announced via Instagram on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

“We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement to share with you our recent engagement!” the Safe Haven actress, 27, wrote, alongside a gorgeous snap of herself staring at her ring and embracing her future husband, taken apparently moments after he proposed. “#fiancé #love.”

Hockey star Laich also shared the same photo (and the same exact message!) via his Instagram on Tuesday.

The Dancing With the Stars pro and Washington Capitals hunk, 31, started dating in the winter of 2014 after being set up by a mutual friend.

“It works out well,” a source told Us Weekly at the time when they first stepped out together. The same insider noted that Hough was a sports fan, which made it a natural fit for her to date a pro athlete. “They’re having fun.” Click here to see more cute photos of the couple.

Added another source: “She’s happier than ever.”

In an interview with Redbook last year, Hough noted that her relationship was healthy and built on a solid foundation. “We’ve been open and honest from day one,” she noted.

This will be the first marriage for both Hough (who previously dated Ryan Seacrest for three years before Laich) and her hockey player fiancé.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Are Married!

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Marry in Bel Air on August 6
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have made it official!

The couple exchanged vows in front of more than 70 family members and friends on Wednesday at their Bel Air, California, home, sources confirm to PEOPLE. “Guests were told it was a birthday party for Justin,” says a source. “Jen and Justin wanted to surprise guests and guests were certainly surprised.”

Reps for the couple did not immediately comment.

For the celebration, a large wooden deck was set up in the couple’s backyard, filled with cozy nooks for lounging as well as elegant seating arrangements for 74 festooned with low, casual ottomans. A raised stage on one end, and a bar on the other, flanked the intimate setup.

Several of the stars’ celebrity pals reportedly attended the party, including Lisa Kudrow, Chelsea Handler and Howard Stern.

Party staffers were spotted bringing in a large cake topped with two puppet characters, and a man who appeared to be a pastor was seen arriving on the grounds, according to TMZ.

Aniston, 46, and Theroux, 43, got engaged in August 2012 after more than a year of dating.

In June, the Cake star opened up to PEOPLE about her fiancé of almost three years.

“Justin was the best thing this decade,” Aniston admits about her 40s.

She also gushed about him in July 2014, saying, “He gets better every year.”

“He’s just so beautiful and handsome to me,” she said at a dinner honoring The Leftovers star. “He’s just like a lost gem in the sand, and he’s just always been there and been brilliant, and now this is just in a different light.”

Theroux was equally as smitten with his longtime love, calling her “gorgeous” as he promoted his HBO series last year and admitting that their approach to marriage involved anything but cold feet. “We have hot feet,” he joked.

As for Aniston’s engagement ring, “I just think it’s so beautiful,” she told PEOPLE in June. “I’ve never had anything so big on my hand. But I love it because he picked it and put it into a setting and it’s simple. It doesn’t feel gaudy.”

The Friends star added that Theroux may switch up his own chunky gold ring – which currently spells out his name – now that he’s a married man.

“When we get married he will be wearing his ring. It just won’t say Justin anymore,” she said, adding that it may spell Jen “on the inside” instead.

The couple first met on the set of Tropic Thunder in Hawaii in 2008.

“We were friends for seven years. I replay when I met him then, but he wasn’t a boyfriend,” Aniston said. “It’s funny to replay it because we weren’t even anywhere in each other’s realms of possibility.”

The twosome, who costarred in 2012’s Wanderlust and were first romantically linked in May 2011, “both have the same work ethic and love to bounce ideas off each other,” a source told PEOPLE in March 2014. “Jen seems more confident than ever, and they’ve become a great team.”

Zooey Deschanel Gets Married and Welcomes a Daughter

Zooey Deschanel Welcomes First Child

There’s a new girl in town.

Zooey Deschanel is a new mom — and a new wife! — after welcoming a daughter with husband Jacob Pechenik, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The baby girl was reportedly born in Austin, Texas, in late July, according to the New York Post‘s Page Six.

The New Girl star, 35, confirmed exclusively to PEOPLE in January that she and producer Pechenik were engaged and expecting a baby together.

“Jacob and I are over the moon. We are so excited to meet our little one,” the mom-to-be said.

Although the actress struggled with a few parts of her pregnancy — “You can’t have sushi, you can’t have cheese that tastes good,” she told Jimmy Kimmel — the couple had fun keeping their baby’s sex a guessing game.

“We are going to be surprised. It’s more fun, you know. Make it into a game,” she said during her March appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

But their hope to keep it a delivery surprise took a bit of work — especially when it came time for her ultrasounds.

“You’re like, ‘Don’t tell me, don’t tell me!’ ” she said. “The last time the technician [said], ‘Just so you know, I always use the pronoun he — it’s just my habit.’ She set it up because we were paranoid. Most people want to find out.”

Deschanel and Pechenik already have a playmate for their new baby: The new mama’s sister Emily Deschanel welcomed her second son in June.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale Are Divorcing

Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale Divorce: Couple Splits After 20 Years Together
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are divorcing after 20 years together and nearly 13 years of marriage.

“While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment,” the pair told PEOPLE in a statement.

“To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time.”

After meeting when their bands Bush and No Doubt toured together in 1995, the two dated for six years before tying the knot in 2002. They were set to celebrate their anniversary next month.

“We go through so much together – it’s a miracle that we could stay together this long,” Stefani, 45, told Cosmopolitan earlier this year.

“It’s good to have those days when we both do our own things. I think that’s what keeps relationships going, when both people can be themselves and have their own individuality.”

Rocker Rossdale, 49, and Stefani share three sons together: Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7 this month, and Apollo, 17 months.

Charlize Theron Welcomes Daughter August

Charlize Theron has adopted a second child, a daughter named August.

The actress worked with an adoption agency and gained custody of the baby, an African-American girl born in the United States, in July, PEOPLE has confirmed. The news was first reported by TMZ.

Theron adopted her older child, now 3½-year-old son Jackson, in 2012.

As the Mad Max: Fury Road star told Ryan Seacrest in March of that year, “It’s been amazing, the amount of emails and congratulations. Everyone’s just been so lovely — it’s been really nice.”

That spring, Theron told British Vogue, “I’ve always been very honest in saying I wanted a family. I’ve always known I wanted a family.”

“[I hope] to be like my mom. Fair, tough, and supportive,” she continued. “Our family is everything. Her greatest skill was encouraging me to find my own person and own independence.”
