Brace yourselves, Twihards: After four very eventful years together, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are taking a much-needed break, a source close to Pattinson, 27, tells Us Weekly. Additional Pattinson insiders add that the British actor and Stewart, 23, have been “having problems” and “fighting a lot,” with things coming to a head on Pattinson’s 27th birthday May 13.

Still, the first source adds that the much-scrutinized romance could go either way, and that a reconciliation is certainly possible. Just one week before the bitter birthday argument that led to the current split, in fact, the twosome were happily affectionate at NYC’s Cabin, where Pattinson met Stewart following her solo appearance at the Met Gala.

Former child star Stewart met the British actor when they were cast opposite one another in 2008’s Twilight, the first of five blockbuster films based on Stephenie Meyer‘s bestselling vampire book series. As the movie phenomenon exploded over the years, the twosome very, very slowly went public with their romance.

The relationship was put to the ultimate test last July, when Stewart was photographed making out in a public park with Rupert Sanders, her married Snow White and the Huntsman director, in shocking exclusive photos revealed by Us Weekly. Quickly after Us broke the story, Stewart made her most public display of affection ever in a public apology.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” she said July 25. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

(Sanders and wife Liberty Ross, meanwhile, are already done: The British model, who shares two young kids with the director, filed divorce papers in January.)

The pair reconciled by fall 2012, and jointly promoted Breaking Dawn: Part 2 together. They even appeared to survive several months thousands of miles apart as Pattinson filmed The Rover in Australia in early 2013.

Start planning the bachelor party! The Hangover Part III actor Justin Bartha is engaged to Lia Smith, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly.

The 34-year-old star proposed to the fitness trainer in early May while on vacation at Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, Calif., an insider tells Us.

“They’re the cutest couple. She was completely surprised by the whole thing,” the source adds. “The trip to Big Sur, the engagement, the ring, everything. So cute.”

The insider tells Us that The New Normal star popped the question with an engagement ring that is “just unbelievable.” “They are an amazing couple,” the source adds, “and so gorgeous together.”

Bartha and Smith took their relationship public in January 2013 when they were spotted relaxing on a beach in Maui, Hawaii together on New Year’s Day. The two met during a Pilates session at Equinox in L.A., where Smith is an instructor.

This will be Bartha’s first marriage. He previously dated Ashley Olsen for two years before calling it quits in March 2011.

R&B singer Monica is pregnant with her third child, her first with husband Shannon Brown.

The boy — or girl — is hers! R&B singer Monica will welcome a new addition to her family later this year, a baby with husband Shannon Brown, she confirmed via Twitter on Saturday, May 11, one day before Mother’s Day.

Sharing a photo of her pregnant belly, the mom-to-be praised her team for styling her “right” for Chattanooga, Tennessee’s “A Night to Remember” event, where she performed to raise grant and scholarship money for urban youth. Later, she responded to well-wishers on Twitter, thanking pals including Niecy Nash and Lala Anthony for their Mother’s Day wishes.

“5 months & counting,” she tweeted to Nash. “Excited.”

This will be the third child for the “Until It’s Gone” singer, but the first with basketball player Brown, whom she married in a secret, quickie ceremony in November 2010. (They later had a second, much bigger wedding in July 2011.)

Monica, 32, is also mom to sons Rocko, 7, and Romelo, 5, with her ex-fiance, rapper Rodney “Rocko” Hill. Brown, 27, has a son, Shannon Christopher, from a previous relationship.

The 90210 starlet, 23, wed British model, Josh Beech, she revealed on Twitter Friday.

“I now pronounce us Mr. and Mrs. Beech! Ahhh!” she writes, adding a wedding photo of the couple kissing.

Grimes, whose CW drama will not return for another season, got engaged in December, and thanked fans for all the “warm wishes” about her exciting news.

“I’m a very happy lady indeed,” she blogged around the time of the proposal. “We plan to keep our special day very private and we hope everyone can respect that. Thanks for the love, right back atcha!”

Kellan Lutz is single for the summer! The hunky Twilight star broke up with Australian actress Sharni Vinson in early May, several sources confirm to Us Weekly. Lutz, 28, and Vinson, 29, were first linked in September 2011.

Ironically, the former couple met during a chemistry reading for Step Up 3D. Though Vinson won the role of street dancer Natalie, Lutz never appeared in the dance flick.

In the early stages of their relationship, Lutz often gushed about his compatibly with Vinson. “She’s a happy person, which really just clicks with me,” he once said of the Home and Away soap star. “It’s just great to have someone you can smile with all the time. It’s really special.”

The North Dakota native previously dated 90210 actress AnnaLynne McCord on-and-off from 2008 to 2010. Vinson, meanwhile, was linked to CSI: NY vet A. J. Buckley from 2007 to 2008.

Lutz currently appears in the film Syrup, costarring Amber Heard, Brittany Snow and Shiloh Fernandez. The drama is available on demand now and arrives in theaters June 7.

Amy Poehler has another funnyman in her life: Nick Kroll, creator and star of Comedy Central’s Kroll Show! “She was looking for a guy like him,” a source says of Poehler in the May 20 issue of Us Weekly (on stands Friday).

Kroll is the first man Poehler has romanced following her September 2012 split with Will Arnett, her husband of nine years. (The former spouses are parents to sons Archie, 4, and Abel, 2.) “She wanted a comedian who ‘gets’ her,” a source explains.

Though the romance is new — Kroll attended Poehler’s Worldwide Orphans charity event Apr. 30 — the stars have a history. The comic has had a recurring role as “The Douche” on Poehler’s Parks and Recreation since 2011.

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder‘s showmance is over. The Vampire Diaries costars, who play Elena Gilbert and Damon Salvatore on the CW hit series, have called it quits after more than three years of dating, a source tells Us Weekly exclusively.

The couple, who first took their romance public in 2011, are “consummate professionals,” the insider says, and “will continue to work together and remain best friends, which is where the relationship started.”

Last fall, Dobrev opened up to Seventeen magazine about falling for Somerhalder. “I didn’t want to be dating one of my costars — my goal on the show was to be professional,” she admitted. “But sometimes you can’t help who you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long — which I did for a really, really long time.”

The Vampire Diaries is currently in its fourth season on the CW. In February, the network renewed the supernatural drama for a fifth season. Filming will begin later this year; in the meantime, Dobrev, 24, will spend the summer shooting the Fox movie Let’s Be Cops, which also stars New Girl‘s Jake Johnson and Happy Endings‘ Damon Wayans Jr.

Reps for the actors declined to comment on the split.
