Speculation about the pair began after Johansson did not attend the Cannes Film Festival with Penn for his movie The Tree of Life. She has been working on The Avengers in New Mexico, reprising her role of Black Widow from Iron Man 2.

Johansson, 26, and Penn, 50, made headlines when they took a whirlwind trip to Cabo San Lucas after being spotted getting flirty together during a lunch date in Los Angeles.

The pair attended a White House Correspondents’ Dinner party in Washington D.C. in April and had been spotted in a series of cozy outings in L.A.

The reason for the split wasn’t immediately known. Reps declined to comment.

Pink is a mom – and she’s thinking pink, too!

The singer, 31, gave birth to a daughter, Willow Sage Hart, on Thursday in Los Angeles, she announced via Twitter.

“We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful healthy happy baby girl, Willow Sage Hart,” Pink wrote. “She’s gorgeous, just like her daddy [Carey Hart]. #beyondblessed”

Just a day prior, the singer sounded ready to meet her baby, Tweeting a cryptic message on Wednesday night about it being a good time for new beginnings under an auspicious astrological sky.

“New Moon in Gemini today :) a good time to start something new…. Also called the Honey Moon. #intoit,” she wrote.

Pink first confirmed she was pregnant in November after she was spotted sporting a baby bump and received a congratulatory Tweet from a pal on the social networking site.

“I didn’t want to talk about it because I was just really nervous and I have had a miscarriage before,” the singer explained to Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show.

Since the confirmation, the pop star has openly gushed about impending parenthood and her baby-on-the way.

“I have a life inside of me, and I want her or him to know that I will accept him or her with open and loving and welcoming arms,” she wrote on her Web site to accompany the release of her video for her single, “F—–‘ Perfect.” “And though I will prepare this little munchkin for a sometimes cruel world, I will also equip this kid to see all the beauty in it as well.”

After seven months together, Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe have pulled the plug on their relationship, a source tells Us Weekly.

“It was mutual,” the source says. “They were never fully committed.”

After meeting at Kate Hudson‘s Halloween party last October, the pair first called it quits in February.

“They were always on and off,” adds the source. “They were always seeing other people.” Still, when reports surfaced in March that Phillippe, 36, was father of his ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp‘s baby, due this month, Seyfried, 25, stuck by him.

But it’s anything but acrimonious post-split, says the pal. “There’s no bad blood. They’re cool.”

Phillippe’s past loves include ex-wife (and mother to his kids Ava and Deacon) Reese Witherspoon and actress Abbie Cornish. Red Riding Hood star Seyfried split with British beau Dominic Cooper about a year ago, following a three-year relationship.

Humphries popped the question with a custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond sparkler. “I just knew I wanted it to be big,” says Humphries, 26, who, with the help of Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner, planned an intimate family celebration later that evening.

“Kris really didn’t want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he’d be fine if there were mini-horses there,” says Kardashian with a laugh. “Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!”

The actor-director’s wife, photographer Zoe Buckman, delivered their daughter Cleo Buckman Schwimmer on Sunday, May 8 in New York, his rep tells PEOPLE.

Schwimmer, 44, wed the London-born Buckman, 25, last June after dating since 2007.

Speaking to PEOPLE in 2006 about his desire to start a family, the former Friends star said he was eager to be a dad – in due time.

“It will happen when it feels right,” he said at the time. “Maybe part of me is waiting for myself to slow down a little and be ready to stay put. I’m confident it’s gonna happen.”

Schwimmer most recently directed Trust, starring Clive Owen and Catherine Keener, and will next be heard reprising his role as Melman in Madagascar 3.
