Talk about a happy birthday.

Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian on Monday – the day she turned 33 – in front of family and friends at San Francisco’s AT&T Park, which he rented out for the occasion, E! reports.

A rep for the reality star confirms the news that the couple are engaged.

West, 36, appeared on the same night at the Hollywood Film Awards in Beverly Hills, making reference to a quick commute from San Francisco but saying nothing about a wedding proposal.

For the big moment, West hired an orchestra to play for Kardashian, while a large screen flashed the words “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!!”

The rapper and the reality starlet, who first went public with their relationship in 2012, are parents to 4-month-old daughter North.

This will be the third marriage for Kardashian, who filed for divorce from basketball star Kris Humphries in 2011 after just 72 days as husband and wife. Their long-running divorce battle finally ended last June.

Her first marriage to music producer Damon Thomas ended in divorce in 2004.

The proposal comes during marital problems for her mother Kris Jenner, who is separated from Bruce Jenner, and her sister Khloé Kardashian, whose marriage to Lamar Odom is on the rocks.

Congrats to Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard! The longtime Hollywood couple (and parents to daughter Lincoln, 7 months) finally got married on Thursday, Oct. 16 –  exchanging vows in a no-frills ceremony at the Beverly Hills County Clerk’s Office, Us Weekly can confirm. TMZ was first to report the news. The Veronica Mars actress, 32, and Parenthood actor, 38, are said to have arrived at the office to simply obtain a marriage license, but took up a court employee’s offer to marry them in a nearby courtroom — with Bell shedding tears, the site reports.

The pair got engaged over the holidays in 2009, but famously vowed not to wed until same-sex marriage bans were overturned nationwide.

“I don’t feel appropriate taking advantage of a right that’s denied to my [gay and lesbian] friends,” Bell said in August 2012. “It’s just kind of rude to invite everyone to a party for a rite not everyone can hold.”

Thus, this past June, when the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the Defense of Marriage Act — and Proposition 8 was overturned in California — Bell re-proposed to Shepard via Twitter. The comic star responded in kind: “Let’s bring my big, gay marriage to [Kristen] to Life!!!”

No word on how the couple are otherwise celebrating their newly wedded bliss — but little Lincoln will surely be involved.

Bell has called motherhood “actually better than I expected . . . It’s pretty wonderful.”

Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez welcomed a baby boy Saturday, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

It is a second child for the Oscar winner, who married French actor Martinez in July.

The healthy baby, who was born in Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, has a 5-year-old sister, Nahla, Berry’s daughter with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

A source at the hospital told PEOPLE on Saturday night, “Olivier hasn’t left Halle’s side. Nahla visited her baby brother earlier today.”

Earlier this week, only days before the birth, the 47-year-old star looked gorgeous and chic as ever, shopping at the Grove in L.A. with her daughter.

In April, Berry said about the impending arrival: “This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth.

“Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.”

Richard Gere and Carey Lowell have split.

A friend of the couple, confirming that Gere and Lowell have separated, tells PEOPLE, “They’ll do everything possible to keep things amicable and put their child first.”

A rep for Gere had no comment.

The couple, married for 11 years, have been living apart for some time, with Gere, 64, staying at their property in Bedford, N.Y., and Lowell, 52, at their historic mansion in North Haven, N.Y., the New York Post reports.

Gere, a devout Buddhist, was said to enjoy his solitude, while Lowell, a former model and actress, enjoyed being more social, the paper reports, noting that the two have been living separate lives.

They wed in 2002 after dating for about seven years and are parents to son Homer, born in 2000.

They were last seen together publicly in June at a fundraiser in New York City.

Gere, named PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive in 1999, was previously married to supermodel Cindy Crawford. Lowell has two previous marriages: to fashion photographer John Stember and to actor-director Griffin Dunne, with whom she has a 23-year-old daughter, Hannah.

It’s officially over: Reps for both Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth confirm to PEOPLE exclusively that the engagement is off between the two stars.

The news marks the end of a tumultuous year in which Cyrus, 20, and Hemsworth, 23, have experienced more break-ups than bonding moments.

The couple – who first met on the movie set of 2010’s The Last Song – got engaged in May 2012. At the time, the singer told PEOPLE, “I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam.”

But earlier this year, the pair decided to postpone their wedding.

Cyrus was subsequently seen out without her 3.5-carat Neil Lane engagement ring but soon it was back on her hand and the couple were reunited in July in Canada, where Hemsworth was shooting his new movie Cut Bank, and on the red carpet for his movie Paranoia in August.

Since then the couple seem to have been living separate lives as the “Wrecking Ball” singer continues to plug her album Bangerz and Hemsworth prepares to promote Catching Fire.

There’s a baby on the way for Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.

A rep for the actress confirms to PEOPLE that the couple are expecting their first child in just a few months.

Blunt, 30, and Krasinski, 33, were married in 2010.

“Meeting John really changed my life,” Blunt, who will play the Baker’s Wife in the movie adaptation of Stephen Sondheim‘s Into the Woods, told InStyle in April.

“When I feel the support I have from him, I feel invincible. There’s someone behind you on your good days, and someone in front of you on your bad days.”

Blunt, who admits to letting their oversized lab Finn sleep in bed with them, also spoke about their future.

“Whatever those good things are, I don’t even know,” she said. “But I am a hopeful person.”

Kate Bosworth said “I do” to director Michael Polish on Saturday during an outdoor ceremony at The Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, Montana, PEOPLE confirms.

The Superman Returns star, 30, met and fell in love with Polish, 42, when he directed her in the drama Big Sur in 2011. The sparks flew and it was love at first sight.

“I never even dated my husband-to-be,” Bosworth told InStyle UK in its September issue. “He said to me after just a few weeks before we were even together, ‘I’m going to marry you.’ He just knew.”

Bosworth confirmed her engagement in September of last year, Tweeting, “Thank you for all the wonderful engagement wishes…We feel truly blessed.”

As for wedding details of her big day, the Blue Crush actress revealed that the ceremony is “not the norm and whisky will be involved.”

This is the second marriage for Polish, who has teenage daughter, Jasper, with make-up artist Jo Strettell. They divorced in 2004.
