Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry Split

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have broken up after four years together, according to multiple reports.

The Oscar winner and the Canadian model are reportedly in negotiations to work out a custody agreement regarding their 2-year-old daughter Nahla, TMZ.com reports.

Berry, 43, and Aubry, 34, met at a Versace store opening in Manhattan in February 2006. Their daughter was born two years later.
In February 2009, Berry told Essence magazine about motherhood, “I’m complete. I have more to offer my craft because [my daughter] makes me indelibly better every day.” That same month, Aubry told PEOPLE that Nahla “needs a sibling. I think it’s important.”

Berryâ€™s rep couldnâ€™t be reached for comment.

Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy Split

They’re grateful for the time they spent together and only wish the best for each other. But for Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy, it’s over.

“Jim and Jenny have recently decided to end their five-year relationship,” Carrey’s rep Marleah Leslie tells PEOPLE.

The two had supported each other through many life events, including the birth of Carrey’s first grandchild after the actor’s daughter, Jane, gave birth to a son in February.

“I’m so grateful for the years Jim and I shared together,” McCarthy, 37, said in a statement. “I will continue to be in his daughter’s life and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart.”

In announcing the split on his Twitter page, Carrey, 48, echoed her warm sentiments. “I’m grateful 4 the many blessings we’ve shared and I wish her the very best! S’okay!” Carrey Tweeted.

Still, the breakup came as a surprise as the pair had always appeared to be among Hollywood’s happiest and most devoted couples.

Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes Split

Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes Split The nearly seven-year marriage of Kate Winslet and director Sam Mendes is coming to an end.

“Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year,” their lawyers say in a statement. “The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.”

Winslet, 34, and Mendes, 44, were married in 2003. They have a son, Joe, 6. Winslet also has a daughter, Mia, 9, from her first marriage to Jim Threapleton.

Winslet and Mendez, who were both born in Reading, England, are also both Oscar winners. She won the Best Actress award in 2009 for The Reader after five previous nominations. He was named Best Director in 2000 for American Beauty.

They became a couple in the fall of 2001, when Mendes approached Winslet to star in two stage productions with his Donmar Warehouse theater company in London. (She turned him down.) Mendes had previously been linked to actresses Calista Flockhart and Rachel Weisz.
