Tyra Banks revealed her “real hair†today (September 8 ) on the season premiere of The Tyra Show.
“I feel like it’s my responsibility to redefine true beauty,†she said, “so I’ve shown myself with no makeup and now I’m showing my real hair – and it’s all because I want more women to be proud of who they are…inside and out.â€
Tyra, who entered the studio with dripping wet hair, also invited studio audience members on stage to touch and feel her “real hair†during the taping to ensure it was in fact real.
By the end of the show, her hair stylist Oscar James had given her a cute curly ‘do minus a few inches.
