He’s going to be one hot dad! Sam Worthington and his girlfriend Lara Bingle are expecting their first child together, Us Weekly can confirm.
The couple have been facing pregnancy rumors for the past few months. Bingle, 27, appeared to strategically cover her baby bump with her leather jacket in NYC on Saturday, Sept. 20. The following day, the model made more waves when she was photographed holding her stomach while visiting a medical office.
The Avatar star, 38, and Bingle have been very private since they began dating in September 2013 — so much so that Worthington was arrested for assault after punching a photographer in NYC’s Greenwich Village back in February.
“They’re inseparable,” a source tells Us. “They’ve been making steps in their relationship but he’s an extremely private guy.”
Despite the incident (he’s since worked out a plea deal), Worthington will be a busy dad once his little one arrives. Although he told Men’s Health in 2011 that he’s taking a break from acting, the Australian hunk has signed on to reprise his role as Jake Sully in James Cameron’s Avatar sequels that run through 2018.
