Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have decided to take a breather on their relationship after dating over three years, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly.
The Amazing Spider-Man costars, who are currently on a break, haven’t been photographed together since photobombing a fan while at dinner in New York City this past January.
“They had been fighting a lot and they hadn’t seen each other. They have both been working but they weren’t getting along,†one source tells Us of the possible soon-to-be exes.
Garfield, for his part, has been busy filming Martin Scorsese’s flick Silence in Taiwan while Stone has been gracing the Broadway stage in Cabaret in New York City.
“He’s very in his character,†another insider tells Us of Garfield, who plays a Jesuit priest in Scorsese’s film. “He’s lost weight, and he’s in a dark place mentally for his performance and he’s not boyfriend material right now.”
The couple ignited rumors of a split after Stone, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Birdman, appeared at numerous award shows earlier this year sans Garfield.
