Joanna, an animal lover at heart, is bringing awareness to the organization’s latest campaign, “Be an Angel for Animals: Always Adopt. Never Buy.â€
She’s photographed with her adorable dog, Rugby. She says, “We’re trying to spread the word that breeding isn’t the way to go.â€
And Joanna is definitely putting her money where her mouth is; on December 1st she’ll join protesters outside an LA pet store that sells dogs and puppies from puppy mills.
Joanna says, “Somebody needs to put their foot down and stop this breeding and these puppy mills. … they’re in these little tiny cages, and all they’re doing is breeding their whole life. It makes me so angry that our government doesn’t do anything about it. So I am!”
