We don’t call her the ‘Material Girl’ for nothing! Madonna has just been named the World’s Highest Earning Musician, beating out fellow stars like Celine Dion, Beyonce and Bruce Springsteen.
Madonna topped a poll by Forbes magazine after making $110 million in the past year, mainly thanks to her sold-out ‘Sticky and Sweet’ world tour and lucrative endorsement deals.
In order to compile the list of the year’s top earning musicians, Forbes considers money made from album sales, touring, publishing and endorsement deals from June 2008 and June 2009.

3 – Beyonce – $87 million
4 – Bruce Springsteen – $70 million
5 – Kenny Chesney – $65 million
6 – Coldplay – $60 million (tie)

6 – AC/DC – $60 million (tie)
9 – The Eagles – $55 million
10 – Toby Keith – $53 million
