Hollywood actor Mel Gibson became a father for the eighth time, it was revealed last night.
The Braveheart actor had the baby girl with his 39-year-old Russian girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva on Friday.
The birth was a few weeks early, but mother and baby are doing well at home, reports in the U.S. claimed.

The 53-year-old had previously seemed delighted to be a father again – giving the thumbs-up sign on an American chat show when asked whether Miss Grigorieva was expecting his baby.
He told Tonight Show host Jay Leno: ‘This is true. We are going to have a child. I could not be happier about that.’
Gibson told the chat show host he met Miss Grigorieva last year, after the musician had been signed to his Icon Records label.

But he insisted she had ‘absolutely not’ been a reason for his marriage breakdown.
Gibson separated from his wife of 28 years, Robyn, in 2006 and is currently in the process of divorcing her.
Mrs Gibson, 52, cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for their split in divorce papers and could take half of her husband’s £700million fortune under Californian law.
She filed the documents just weeks after Gibson was photographed embracing a bikini-clad woman, thought to be Miss Grigorieva, near his home in Costa Rica.
In an earlier interview Gibson held his hands up over the end of his marriage.
‘When it’s all said and done, I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage myself, you know,’ he said. ‘I’m to blame. If you are inclined to judge, put it here.’
The Oscar winner separated from his wife shortly after his arrest for drink-driving, when he famously launched into an alcohol-fuelled anti-Semitic tirade.
‘These things happen. It’s unfortunate. But, you know, she is an admirable woman. We have still got kids to raise together. We are friends.’
Gibson has seven children with his estranged wife, six sons and one daughter: Hannah, 28; twins Christian and Edward, 26; William, 24; Louis, 21; Milio, 19; and Thomas, 10.
His wife is seeking joint custody of their youngest child.
Grigorieva has a 12-year-old son from James Bond actor Timothy Dalton.
