After nine days, Travis Barker has been released from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, PEOPLE has learned.
“Travis is in good condition and was discharged this morning,” Burn Center spokesperson Beth Frits told PEOPLE Monday. “He has left Augusta.”
Barker, who lives in Los Angeles, is headed back to California, according to a source. “He’s on a bus headed to L.A.” the source tells PEOPLE. “Trust me, he will never fly again – ever.”
The musician, 32, was admitted in critical condition in the early hours of Sept. 20 after a Learjet 60 carrying him and five others crashed upon takeoff from the South Carolina’s Columbia Metropolitan Airport, about an hour away.
