Bell \u00e2\u20ac\u201d who is also mom to daughter Gemma<\/strong>, 7\u00c2\u00bd, with her screenwriter husband Adam Beason<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201d says motherhood the second time around is a breeze.

I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll just finish what I do and go and pick him up.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

She also has the assistance of Gemma, who has turned into a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153second mommy,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d the actress notes.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The first time she saw him in the hospital, it was the most beautiful thing,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Bell, 42, recalls. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Gemma came over and held him and started crying. It was so sweet. She loves to cuddle him and feed him.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Bell, who gained 28 lbs. during her pregnancy, credits \u00e2\u20ac\u0153breastfeeding, working out, eating well and having one treat, not two\u00e2\u20ac\u009d with helping her lose the weight.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153It feels good to get back in shape,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d she says. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I put the baby in a sling or baby carrier and go for long walks or walk on the treadmill. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a great bonding experience \u00e2\u20ac\u201d he usually falls asleep on me and I get the extra 10 lbs. for my workout.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

The JAG<\/em> alum \u00e2\u20ac\u201d who lives in Charleston, S.C. with her family \u00e2\u20ac\u201d is back at work, filming a Lifetime action movie in Detroit that her husband wrote. She can next be seen in The Good Witch\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Gift<\/em><\/a>, premiering Nov. 13 on the Hallmark Channel, and returns to the set of Army Wives<\/em> in December.<\/p>\n
